Philosophy

I believe our thought process on a whole  is in desperate need of change; from what we eat to the environment we surround ourselves in.  The way our creator designed for us to live is really quite simple, if the laws laid out for us were followed, we could save ourselves much heartache and stress.

Our motto is to live a simplistic lifestyle, dedicated to wholesome Plant Based Meals, Natural Remedies, Clean Simple Living & taking the utmost care of our bodies.  Most importantly adopting the *8 laws of Health; Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, Trust (NEWSTART)

As we continue to survive in this turbulent world we CAN live a pure, true & simplistic life.

About Abigail

Abigail has worked in the Financial Industry for nearly 20 years.  8 years ago she decided to dedicate much of her time learning more about Health & Wellness.  Growing up vegetarian, she thought it would be a piece of cake to drop the dairy and eggs but was in for a challenge.  Although self-taught for many years, she took a year to study some more about healthy wholesome foods, wellness and the special care we should all take of our bodies.  Abigail recently earned her Nutritionist Certification as a follow up to her Health Coaching and Essential Oils certification.   Abigail has finally realized that there's so much more than just going "Vegan" to be healthy, there's an entire package involved.  There are actually laws to our health that we all should be hard pressed to follow. The neglect of adequate rest, lack of sufficient exercise and meaningful meals that help supplement the body can wreak havoc on our health. Learning to live slow meaningful lives is extremely important.  Reducing stress by taking up hobbies like Therapeutic Art is one way of taking care of your health, as an artist, Abigail has dabbled a bit in learning more about therapeutic  art and what effect it has on decreasing stress.  After receiving her phase 1 Therapeutic Art Certification, an important  take away she has learned ( but always knew as an artist) was that there's a much better (regular) flow of oxygen going into your system, you breathe better, there's no laboured breathing or stress going on with art.  "The Health & Wellness industry is opening many doors for so many who are struggling to get themselves and their families into living a healthier lifestyle.  I am on board to help you achieve your highest form of wellness"

Mission

  • To tell the world about the health message. Bringing  awareness of the urgency of learning how to take care of one's health, not just in a physical sense, but mentally & spiritually as well.

  • Taking care to understand that it isn't a "piece of cake" to overcome the health challenges that come your way, but with a confidant in a Christ centred Coach/Nutritionist encouraging you and praying for you every step of the way, it can be possible to overcome.

Why Fig & Pear?

Figs were commonly used in the Bible in parables and many faith based lessons taught.   This ancient fruit is a sign of peace and prosperity and has numerous health benefits.

Pear – a fruit bearing from a tree has many health benefits. Like any other fruit which is a symbol of character, life and abundance.

Words to Live by

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8 KJV

Introduction

"Simplicity", a word we all need to revert to in this day and age.

In this fast paced stressful society we created for ourselves, it is important to take a step back and reevaluate our lifestyle.

Am I living above and beyond my means?  Is it really necessary for me to spread myself so thin that I don't take care of my own health?  These are questions we should ask ourselves on a daily basis.
